About this website
BeauBeau in a non-profit organisation based in Brussels since 2005.
It brings together creators producing beautiful objets :
innovating in their own field (litterature, fashion, illustration, design, etc.) ;
usually handmade and/or in limited edition ;
without a proper distributor ;
aiming to offer their creations to a wide range of buyers at a fair price.
BeauBeau is organizing events such as the "Marché BeauBeau" (9 editions / 500 creators showing and selling their own creations at fair prices / free music, films & exhibitions / conviviality welcome !). Take a look at one of our editions here...
That’s why this site is based on self-distribution : each creator carefully send his/her object and can easily manage his/her eshop !
That’s why BeauBeau is a not-for-profit association : our aim is not to make profits :
it’s just to allow creations to be seen and creators to continue to create !
it’s just to finance non-profit events with free music, films and exhibition, where everybody can meet fresh creators that could be their neighbour !
Creation
In 2005 they’ve built the not-for-profit association BeauBeau in Brussels : Jérôme Poloczek (littérature), Maxime Lê Hung (music), Caroline Petignot (plastician), Barbara Decloux & Xavier Gigot (stylists).
Caroline & Xavier left the association in 2008, and Paul Govaerts (litterature & video), Sophie Martin (textile design) & Valerie Laroche (stylism) were welcome.
